This nut is inserted into a 8 diameter hole and allows to eccentrate more or less the M5 screw axis (with respect to the M8 hole axis). It’s used to adjust the wheel spacing on trolleys on Makerslide aluminum extrusions.
This "Low Profile" version exceeds the M8 hole only by 2.2 mm.
